Is it time we changed our laws re sentencing, after yet another senseless killing gives 3 burgulars jail time?

my point being that either a more useful rehabilitation and education into right and wrong is needed, or the introduction of the not so popular death penalty.

Perhaps the Victorians had a point, prisoners were sent to the Penitentiary, here they’d be locked up alone, when they were out of the cell they weren’t permitted to talk so they had plenty of time to reflect on their crime. Penitence is what it’s supposed to be about, isn’t it?
