How difficult is it to replace a roof in Florida?
If I wanted to do this job myself, what do I need to know? My property is located in Duval County
Hi, I live in Brevard county and recently replaced part of my roof. Florida’s building codes are very specific and strict, so it’s important to know the codes or work with someone who does.
I had a roofer/bouncer doing most of the work. He knows the codes and had no problem with the manual labor. I kept the cold drinks coming, fixed lunch, and bought all the supplies.
It’s not technically difficult, but physically taxing. Some know-how is needed. If it’s not up to code, it could be a costly mistake
