i was sentenced to probation in gainesville, ga the probation was supposed to be transferred to Dekalb co?
the probation officer in dekald county ga never recieved case. now gainesville probation has issued warrant for my arrest. what should i do.
gainesville stated that they transferred case to Mcdonough, Ga. Mcdonough in turn was to transfer case to Dekalb Co probation. which they’re stating they recieved; now but i have been reporting to dekalb on another case, but the case from gainesville was never transferred now there is a warrant issued for my arrest out of gainesville. how can gainesville violate me on a case that was never transferred
i just spoke with gainesville coounty probation officer, she stated that when case was transferred to Mcdonough, ga; the probation officer there did not transfer correct case file to Dekalb county, I did speak with an attorney who stated that probation officer in Mcdonough,GA dropped ball. Should that be considered a violation on my part ?
If you reported to the Dekalb County probation then go to them and ask the probation officer to call the other state-I hope your probation officer knew you were planning on moving if not you best get back there and take care of this.
