Possession of alcohol for minors? PAULA I have a ticket the other night in a bar Iowa City (I'm 20 and you may be in the bars if you are 19 years or older). As I understand it to court and plead not guilty what are my chances? I want to be postponed or something I can be removed from my file … How do I go about that is not even possible for Paula? Do I need a lawyer? This effect will be my job after graduation? Will this affect my insurance?
Your best course of action is to go court and get community service that the judge can give this place a fine. It a misdemeanor charge and can occur if applied to something sensible. Things are different now than when it was at the school of their being, but still a college town can offer this option.
