Texas adjuster license and sealed juvenile record?
I have a sealed juvenile record (1 misdemeanor) will this stop me from obtaining an adjuster license in Texas? I know they do some in depth background checking, so I am a little worried.
I can’t say 100% but its unlikely. Even if they see it, a juvenile misdemeanor is often considered to be a ‘youthful indiscretion’ by most licensers/employers and would only affect you negatively if it was for something directly detrimental to the position (for example if it was an alcohol issue and you were trying to get a liquor license.
