california trespassing laws 10 easy points
there is a spot in solano county california where i like to fish but last week i was kicked off it by a sheriff that said i was trespassing. it is fenced in but it is all broken down. there are no “No Trespassing” signs at all. i have been told that there must be trespassing at every entrance point and then every 20 ft.

i was not chrged but thanks for your offer. my uncle is a sheriff and he said it is almost impossible to convict someone of trespassing.

Were you charged? I have been stopped by fish and game a few times. I usually just tell them I didn’t know and they let me go off on my merry little way.
