great places to go?
i live in franklin co tn which is close to huntsville alabama and i was wondering about some great places to go just to get away in either tn or al like malls parks just ne thing by the way my boyfriend will be going with me so…
We live in Huntsville and Chattanooga TN (check out the the Chattanoogo Ducks, Aquarium). Our trips are more tailored around kids (aquariums, zoos etc), but there’s a lot of things to do in TN and AL – just search for state activites. We also liked Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg TN.
If you haven’t been to the US Space & Rocket Center, that’s cool. The new Bridge Street shopping in Huntsville has some stores open and is very nice (shopping, movies, restaurants). The Birmingham Zoo is neat. Nashville and Atlanta are close too and have fun things to do. It depends on the time of year too. If you go to Nashville, definitely check out the Opryland Hotal (even if you can’t afford to stay there), and the old Opryland is now shops. There are Outltet shops in Arab Alabama.
