is there a web site where you can search public records?
Searching for my bio dad. Found out many things i need to find marrige cert and death cert also like to see court papers as well as criminal background…….please if you know any free or cheap sites

Most public records are not fully searchable online.
For most court records, you’d have to go to the courthouse(s) in question to view the records and make copies. Marriage and death certificates are subject to privacy restrictions, so you may not be able to access those directly (however, divorce and probate records, if you can find them, can give you much the same information and then some).
Federal court records in the U.S. (civil, criminal, and bankruptcy) are fully searchable, if you have a PACER account.
