How can I get false information in my credit report?

I checked my credit report today I noticed something wrong. There was another record on my album. It was a public record which also has an active arrest warrant. I guess that probably outstanding fines or something minor in this area. I called the state level and county and not trying to help. The clerk of the county, even hung up on me! … What I can do to solve this problem? Is to hire a lawyer is an option? Thank you
