Can a teacher touch a student in Louisiana?
Okay, so we have a mock trial going on in class and im the defense attorney. Anyway this is the “crime” a student didn’t want to have the test the same day that we had a guest speaker..so the teacher and student argue–the students get a lil attitude, and the teacher doesn’t like—so the teacher tells the student to stand up and she does. Then the teacher puts his hands on her shoulders, so the student pushed them off. Then she is sent to the office. REMEMBER this was fake…but I want to know is there a law, bill. act, or policy against a teacher putting his hands on a student? I live in vermilion parish in louisiana…don’t know if the law changes in different parishes. Also please tell me the law or policy or whatever and if you know where to find it..please!!
