How can I file a contempt citation for a civil case where there has been a judgemnt ordered -state of Oklahoma?
I gave an individual $ to fix a transmission. He did nothing so I took him to court and won the judgement; however he still hasn’t paid me anything. Went to the courthouse (Osage County) they said to hire an attorney. I’m a single grandparent raising 3 grandchildren and can’t afford an attorney
You have a judgment, not money. It is not up to the courts to collect your money. You can file a lien on anything he owns, so if he sells his house, you get paid, and the judgment is bad for his credit, but otherwise, he does not have to pay right away.
