if you miss a court date is gaston county nc will they arrest you?
i missed my court date yesterday, and i called the court house to see if i could come today and she said i could try but she didnt know if they would talk to me, do they arrest you for missing your court date but showing up the next day? PLEASE HELP???? i have never been in trouble
yeah my car broke down, and i thought my court date was for today
thanks to everyone and i didn’t go to jail just got a new court date and no lawyer needed!!!
If you don’t show up, they say FTA (failure to appear) and issue a Bench warrant.
But, I know people who have had that happen, and the bench warrant got withdrawn when the person did show up. (However this was to make a payment, not to see a judge)
