Apartment has no insulation is this legal in MD?
I live at Tall Oaks apartments 🙁 I know there is no insulation on any of my interior walls. But I am pretty sure there in no insulation in my exterior wall either. I was wondering if It is within code in MD, specifically Anne Arundel county to have an apartment with no insulation. I will be opening the wall to find out for sure but only if it benefits me to find nothing. i.e. if nothing will change from finding no insulation am not going to bother. Thank you.
They are brick construction without any siding so no foam board there.
The insulation is probably the sheathing that the siding is attached to , I would be very surprised it the ” shared ” interior walls were not insulated …
