Where can I go online 2 search for deeds/property?
I went 2 the deeds of registry in knox county Tn.
Now I want 2 look in anderson county,Grainger County & Blaine, Tn so on. Are there a place online to search these counties in TN. Or find the number(s) for them 2 call?
Even if they are online I would still suggest going to the court house. You can not count on everything to be up to date on line. A problem you can run into is single person buys land deed is in their name. Single person gets married, in most if not all states spouse automatically becomes equal owner without any update needing to be done. Even though the deed show one person both have equal rights as long as they have that marriage license. Along with the deed you need to check records for things like that.
Property can also transfer quicker than it gets recorded by the court house. Along with court house you need to check local title companies. Looking on line and just going of that can screw you.
A person could sell the property to 5 different people and if they don’t check every where and the seller does it in short span of time alot of people could get screwed.
Use a title Company and buy the title insurance
