Looking to move in 3 years – Need a City with a PORT near by and cant be to far from North ALA, any Suggestion
We want to move in 3-4 years -We love the city we live in but Property taxes & Innsurrance is too high on Houses in FLORIDA- My fiance is In the Marine engineering Field – So we need to live near or by a PORT and it needs to be not too far away from North Ala (where my parents live) Also we are an interacial Couple & have a Biracial Daughter – we prefer a city that is Diverse & has Open Minded people, Lots of Job Ops, & Perfect for raising children – We prefer Medium sized Cities (Not too big -not too small) or to live in a small City thats close by a Large or Major City
Any Suggestions – We are considering Charleston, SC or Somewhere in Georgia – but we would prefer a city in South Carolina or Maybe even North Carolina (but that may be too far from Ala)
But most importantly there must be a PORT nearby

Thanks But forgot to mention we dont want to live in ALABAMA at all
Why not Mobile AL, it is right on the Gulf Coast, that is also probably closer to the North part of AL than the costal section of SC would be.
