in illinois, is it public record if someone is arrested and for what and how can I find out this info?
my mother-in-law has serious psychological issues. My father-in-law had her arrested saturday night for tresspassing on his mothers property. We gave the arresting officer several letters she wrote to my father-in-law and left in his truck that clearly shows she has serious issues. The officer told us later that she agreed to a psych consult. When we called the department sunday morning to find out the results, they said she was released and had no other info. I was wondering if there was a online resource that can give more information on the arrest details. They won’t tell us a thing and we are very concerned that she will harm someone in our family or herself. Please help
Warrants and arrests are not available online but must be personally requested at the Police Department.
