Help pay for childcare in GA?
I’m a teen who’s having a baby in a few weeks. I do want to work hopefully two jobs. But if I do work it may be in the afternoon, leaving stress on my family to take care of her when I’m at work. I would rather pay for daycare but I am also working on getting emancipated to get my own place. I do have medicaid. But I was wondering what kind of programs are available that would help me pay for childcare.
I’m in Athens (Clarke County).
Have you tried a community agency? If you are underage and you are trying to do the right thing by your child and going to work, they should be able to provide you with some kind of day care support. I am in Wisconsin and we have child care assistance. I would contact your nearest community agency.
