Does a public forum record each Ip address signed on to the account?
OK say I signed on at home and logged into the forum. Then I used a proxy web sites does the administrator/mods know you signed onto both of those ips? Cause I dont want to get banned onto my regular ip address
For your question about recording the IP the answer is “Yes, They may recording evry IPs you have login with it”
But for your question “does the administrator/mods know you signed onto both of those ips” the answer will be “No” he just see tow different IP’s but he can guess that if he see some same activity from those tow IP’s.
