How do you like this good news van full Illegal aliens detained following traffic stop?
A van full of illegal immigrants from Mexico and Guatemala was discovered Sunday in Livingston County during a traffic stop.
The van was stopped by a trooper from the Michigan State Police Brighton Post because of its tinted windows. The trooper was working with Livingston and Washtenaw Narcotics Enforcement Team (LAWNET) in an effort to curb highway narcotic use.
Inside the van, the trooper discovered 10 individuals who spoke little or no English. The trooper communicated with the individuals through the state police’s Language Line service, which provides an interpreter over the telephone.
