Could I get into University of Maryland College Park?
It was at the end of my junior year I finally realized how important college really is. My gpa is horrible – 2.57 and my SAT score isnt so good either – 1440. Although i don’t have the best grades, are there other factors that could really help me out? Both of my parents didnt go to college and they dont have a college degree. My moms job gives millions of money to the university every year. My mom is also currently taking a few classes at UMUC. I am also a resident of Maryland and I live in Howard County but i go to basically the best public school in the county. Does coming from a good school have any effect on my admission?
