Not being rascist but why is it not acceptable to shorten Pakistan to describe the people.?
With all the Olympic coverage on tv we are constantly hearing BRIT, SWEDE, DANE, AUSSIE,POLE,ARGIE,CZECH etc. I personally, being a BRIT do not get offended by this and nor do my AUSSIE mates but you try and shorten PAKISTAN and you will end up in court.It is only shortening the county’s name, the same as the others. WHY the special treatment?????
This is not an leading question for people to put rascist stuff on here but a genuine disscussion topic.
I always refer to Pakistanis as Pakis.
I mean no offence by it and will stop if they tell me they have a problem with it. But in that case, they need to stop referring to me as a Brit and refer to me as a Briton to stop me taking offence.
I don’t care what set of rules I have to play by, just so long as they apply to all sides.
