ARE THE CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES REALLY FREE ?
Or are we being controlled by our Government and the crooked politicains? It really seems like WE PAY TO LIVE HERE…. WE AREN’T FREE, that’s an illusion!!! We pay all sorts of taxes to have a facade freedom…. Federal, State, Local, County, Municipal, School, Property, Sales, Inheritance, Gift, Capital Gains, the right to work tax, etc. It all adds up to more than 50% of my pay!!! Are we really free while we are waving that flag and smiling and being patriotic? Or, are we just all brainwashed SLAVES???
And, if you say, if you don’t like it then leave…. I do. I travel to Europe (Germany, England, Wales, france, Italy, Belgium and my favorite the Netherlands), also, Brazil, Costa Rica, and Mexico are very cool. I am in the USA only 4 or 5 months out of the year when it gets colder.

I don’t think we’re any more free than the Chinese, or Russians, or any other country on the planet. Our incarceration rate is absolutely insane and has been since about 1980. According to latest statistics The U.S. has about 7 million people behind bars. China Ranks second with 1.5 million people and Russia comes in third with 870,000 people. The U.S. incarceration rate of 737 per 100,000 people is the highest, followed by 611 in Russia and 547 for St. Kitts and Nevis. In contrast, the incarceration rates in many Western industrial nations range around 100 per 100,000 people. So if you measure freedom by how many people we keep in jail, well we lost that a long long time ago buddy.
