Lee Clerk Of Courts

is evidence inadmissible if it isn’t filed with the circuit clerk for small claims?

i am going to a small claims court case in Lee County Illinois. i was served with an order that i was being sued in small claims. i filed my appearance with the circuit clerk and paid my fee. next i filed a counter claim and submitted all my evidence/exhibits with the circuit clerk as they said i needed to. i have court tomorrow and so far the petitioner hasn’t filed any of her evidence with the circuit clerk. does this make her evidence inadmissible? or is it not required to file with the circuit clerk?

It does not make her evidence inadmissible in small claims court, there is a different standard for admissibility than in a regular civil court case, however if you had filed a motion for discovery and the other party did not submit it you could contest admissibility.~
