Ramifications of first offense possession of alcohol by person under 21?
I was recently tailgating at a football game in Hillsborough county in Florida. Undercover officers were randomly asking people for ids. They saw me put down a beer bottle which was only half drunken. I was obviously not even slightly innebriated at all. I was not arrested but my information was taken and i was given a yellow “criminal report affidavit/ notice to appear” The statute they issed was 562.111 Misdemeanor Posession of alcohol by person under 21. I have no previous records of any sort and have a lot going for me right now. Can anybody tell me the ramifications of this, what i should do, how i should do it, and if there is any possible way to get this completely dismissed in court so that it will never show on my record? any help will be greatly appreciated.
when you go to court talk to the ADA handling the case and see is they will drop the case or atleast change the charge best thing to do is get a public defender or hire an attorney
