What would be most effective telescope for viewing Erath As the planets?

Well, first of all that we know of Earth-like planets. Planets around other stars are too distant and faint to be seen directly with days Current telescopes (any type). Planets have been detected indirectly by other means, but no pictures of them exist. There are plans to build space telescopes light combine to create a fine enough resolution to actually see planets around other stars, but that is a decade away. Of course it's easy to see the other planets in our solar system with any kind of reach, but I would recommend a reflector.
