defensive driving school in arizona question..please help?
ok so i ran a red light in phoenix (maricopa county) and got flashed by the photo radar camera. the speed limit was 40 and i was going 45. and my ticket came in the mail….but. I dont want any points on my record or my insurance to go up or anything like that cause its my first traffic violation EVER. so i decided ill do defensive driving school so it wil like “erase” my ticket. I heard when i go to dds i dont have to pay my ticket and i wont get any points or anything like that..which is good. So to get to dds do i HAVE to go to court? cause i know im guilty of running a red light and what not but can i just take the class or must i go to court first. I dont know if it matters or not but im not 18 yet either.
Just register online, you can even take the class online. It will cost you
145-185 dollars (depending on the city). You do not have to go to court, they will notify the court, and the ticket will be dismissed. You can go every 2 years.
