A cancer patient says he was left alone in a CT scanner hours after a technician apparently forget about her, and finally crawled out of the device, only to find herself locked in the clinic closed. Elvira Tellez of Tucson said she called her son in a panic, and he told her to call. Pima County Sheriff's deputies arriving at 911 oncology office had unlocked the office door to get in, said Deputy Dawn Hanke, a department spokesman. Members contact the manager the office was not aware of the situation. Tellez was taken to a hospital as a precaution, then released early the next day. Téllez said he had trouble sleeping since the incident last week. She and her family said they wanted an explanation of the medical office, Arizona Oncology Associates, but have not yet received one.
