What happens if we get married and our son gets taken away?
My man and I have a 6 year old and we want to get married. He is a registered sex offender because he was lied to about the age, she had her family lie about her age as well. He did his time and still has to register as a Sex Offender, it has been 14 years now but still has to register yearly, but i been reading stuff online that our son can be taken away because of his past conviction and that it can be possible that I will be sent to file on for the child abuse registry because I married a level one registered sex offender, I am so scared and I am not familiar with the NM Laws. Don’t we have some type of right? We just want to be a family. What happens to my family if we get married?
