Real estate tax rates?
When you get outside of Bexar county do the real estate/property taxes decrease? What about living outside of the San Antonio city limits?

It all depends on the county.
To find out, you can go to the local tax assessor office website.
Guadalupe, Comal, Kendall, Kerr, Wilson, Bexar all have sites. If you have a property address, or one near it, you can do a search based on the address. It will give you the tax history.
Unfortunately, with the growth on the north side of SA, the taxes are high because of the need for schools. It really all just depends on the area you are looking.
