How to obtain a marriage license in Texas?
Our situation – My fiance and I do not want a flashy wedding. We would just like a court house wedding, and the license that will not expire. (If anything I am saying is wrong/doesnt make sense, my knowledge is very limited to this subject, so stay with me.)
Anyway, I have heard a fee. Does it depend on what state and county you’re in? We are in Round Rock Texas in Williamson county.
I would basically like to know what documents we would need to present at the justice of peace. Thanks for your help.

The site may not be updated, but phone numbers for the courthouses will be at the bottom of your state’s page. Call the local courthouse. Ask them your questions, and set up a date/time for your wedding.
