If I check into county jail to pay off my warrant instead of with cash will it go on my record negatively?
I am in Dallas, TX. My warrant is near impossible for me to pay right now, and I really need to get back to driving on the road to get to work on my own. I don’t want to risk getting pulled over and arrested and have my car towed away. If I just serve my time, will it affect my public record negatively?
The charge will be on your record, rtaher than your sentence.
Could you borrow the bond money from your friends or family to get this taken care of? Or go to a legimate bailbondsman (many are thugs unfortunately) who will pay the bond and allow you a while to pay off the fees.
