Can anyone recommend a great wedding reception location?
I’m looking for a wedding reception location in North East Illinois (Lake County, McHenry County, Cook County) or in South East Wisconsin (Kenosha, Bristol, Pleasant Prairie). If you have any suggestions I’m all ears!

I’m from cook county and live right on the border of Indiana so I think that’s a little far from you 🙂 There’s always tons of places in Chicago—there’s a Mariott that right across from Grant Park so you can have an outdoor ceremony with your reception in the hotel.
I’d recommend visiting a site called Respond.com….I feel like a spokesperson or seomthing for them ever since I found the site a few days ago. I was having a hard time trying to get ideas for places that have outdoor ceremonies and indoor receptions in the south suburbs of chicago….it was all coming up chicago, which is too far for more tastes (about an hour for the majority of the guests). Anyway, I filled out this form for the different things I was looking for (DJ, reception, etc) and left my email address (but not real phone number) and then they match you up with businesses and the businesses contact you. I’ve already gotten several emails and it’s realllly helped me pick out some great spots (everyone thinks I’m crazy cuz the wedding is like 15 months away, but you can never plan too early!!).
