I have a question about tarrant county jail.?
Well my husband is in county jail right now for possesion of controlled substance under 1 gram. This is his 2nd offence but the first time he got sentenced to 3 mths but only served 1 cus he did 3 days for 1.well in this case he was sentenced to 7 mths state jail but he has turned down the offer so now he is still in county doin 3 for 1. They set his court date for january. By that time he is goin to Due the time he was offered( 7 mths) my question is when he has court in january do you think mayb they will let him out? Mayb timed served? Can someone please help me understand because his court appointed lawyer is not telling me much and lying about somethings. I appreciate yall help. Thanks
In Tarrant County, you do have the option to do time there since it is a huge jail. It is one of the better jails too. Yes, most likely if your husband “behaves”, then he should be released at his court hearing. That probably is why the court date was set at that time, to see how his behavior was in jail & give him the terms of his probation at the same time. Hope this helps & good luck!
