in the state of colorado, is it possible to get 2 careless driving tickets reduced to lesser offenses?
ok, my 1st careless driving ticket was issued three years ago and my 2nd careless driving ticket was issued two years ago. my current employer has to be able to insure me on their auto policy in order for me to keep my employment. however, their policies state that i cannot have (2) major offenses (yes, careless driving in their policy constitutes a major offense) or else i cannot be insured. so as of right now, my job is in jeopardy. my employer stated to me that i will need to try and get both tickets reduced to lesser offenses, but i’m not sure how or if it is even possible given the time differential. anyone with any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions would greatly be appreciated. my accidents occured in Otero county in Colorado. i currently reside in Pueblo, Colorado. I have already spoken to the the court clerk at Otero county courthouse and she stated to me that the county cannot help me on this matter, but maybe the state given the fact that time is not an issue.
I think you need to look for another job. That crap didn’t seem too serious at the time, huh? Now it starts to cost.
