Marriage license?
What is the difference between a marriage license and marriage certificate? my boyfriend and I are eager to get a legal document that says we are married but not having the ceremony at the latest. I am confused about the agreement for a marriage license together. He lives in Texas, if that helps any. Thank you!
A marriage license is what is before marriage, marriage certificate is what you get after marrying, but you can not get the certificate without a license and a kind of wedding ceremony. If only the town hall or a church, a wedding to be held to be legally married and receive a marriage certificate.
