does a class c misdemeanor if committed under 18 show up in a background check?
About 4yrs ago I was stupid and shoplifted. I was 16 at the time, but they said if i took some classes and paid a fine it would be cleared (expunged) from my record (in Texas). Now, Im 20 and got interviewed, drug tested/background checked for a CNA position at a nursing home. My question is would it still show up for a background check or not? Thanks.
Not if it’s been expunged.
